While bridle sizes generally will fit horse sizes according to the size chart, horse head sizes do vary, and you should test the bridle first to make sure it is a good fit.

When the bridle is on, there should be a hand’s width between the chin strap and the horse’s jaw, two fingers’ width between the noseband and the horse’s nose, and you should be able to fit two fingers under the browband. The browband must not be so tight that it pinches behind the horse’s ears, nor be so long that it pulls the bridle forward.

The F.R.A. lami is a very high-quality product, both in terms of quality and technology. The lami has a sophisticated system built into the noseband which ensures that any rein aid built up is reproduced immediately and completely. The spring inside the noseband directs the pressure to the nose when the rein is tightened. When the pressure on the reins is released, the pressure on the nose is also released immediately. This bridle is particularly suitable for horses that react sensitively to pressure, as the pressure is applied and released very directly and without delay. The noseband can also be combined with other neckpieces without any problems. The F.R.A. lami bridle is made of high quality English leather.
