Easily absorbed glucosamine as glucosamine sulphate of natural origin. Glucosamine is a substance found naturally in the body, e.g. in cartilage, tendons and ligaments. It strengthens the horse's joints during training, regeneration or changes in the joint. With increasing age, the ability to produce glucosamine itself decreases. Vimital glucosamine is more easily absorbed by the digestive system when given as glucosamine sulphate. The sulphate contains sulphur, which is also found in the cartilage structure. Other types of glucosamine are poorly soluble and therefore less absorbed. The addition of manganese can promote the building of cartilage.
