The Harborough reins, also called Thiedemann combination is a combination of a martingale with extended fork ends and web reins with 3 sewn semicircular rings. The reins is a variant of draw reins with the difference that the coming out of the bridle reins ring is locked to the bridle reins. The rider holds so despite the auxiliary rein only reins straight into the arms, and the maximum length of neck is directly dependent on the reins length.
