Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop is a highly effective insect repellent that provides active protection against ticks and insects in accordance with the Biocide Regulation. The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odourless for humans and does not bother either humans or horses with an unpleasant smell. Insects, on the other hand, perceive odours through their sensory system and are repelled by the product. When Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop is applied to the horse’s coat, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective scent barrier that can last for several hours. In addition, the active substance Icaridin® is very skin-friendly, making it suitable for riders as well. For optimal effectiveness, it is important to apply the repellent evenly and thoroughly: the combination of spray and gel ensures maximum efficacy with minimal use. The spray is ideal for covering large areas, while the gel is designed for targeted application under the belly and on sensitive areas around the head. Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop has been awarded multiple test victories and quality seals. Application: Spray onto the coat sparingly from a distance of approximately 25 cm, as required. For sensitive horses, apply with a cloth or use RP1 Gel as an alternative. Riders should apply RP1 sparingly to the skin. Avoid contact with sensitive body parts (eyes, ears, nostrils, and mucous membranes). The protective effect begins immediately.
