Equistro LEGAPHYTON is a dietary complementary feed for horses in pellet form to support liver function in cases of chronic hepatic insufficiency. LEGAPHYTON contains an easily absorbable silibin-phospholipid compound and highly digestible carbohydrates (alfalfa, carob).
Directions for use: LEGAPHYTON is particularly recommended for horses suffering from chronic hepatic insufficiency (high-performance horses, overweight or older horses).
Doping status: Legaphyton by EQUISTRO is classified as non-doping-relevant by both the FEI and the FN.

Technical Description:
Composition: Barley feed flour, dehydrated carob meal: 25 %, alfalfa: 15 %, sugar, cellulose powder: 4 %, potato starch, silybin/phospholipids: 3 % (silybin: 1.1 % and phosphatidylcholine). Sources of protein and fibre: Cellulose, silybin/phospholipids. Additives: None. Analytical constituents: Starch: 25.4 %, crude fibre: 10.8 %, crude protein: 9.5 %, moisture: 8 %, crude ash: 4 %, crude fat: 2.7 %, sodium: 0.2 %, choline: 0.2 %, DL-methionine: 0.15 %.
Usage Instruction:
Horses (500 kg): 30 g (1 measuring scoop) per day. Foals/ponies: 15 g (½ measuring scoop) per day. Mixed with the feed, the daily ration should be divided into several small portions and administered throughout the day. Ensure that the daily ration is balanced. Recommended feeding period: initially up to 6 months. It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or before extending the feeding period. Vetoquinol recommends compliance with local and international regulations governing participation in competitions and horse races.
